We had a leakage from the base of the boiler. My friend refers David from this business to us. I knew David was in his home in Milton Keynes when he received the call. But he promised us to come to deal with the emergency. On arrival, David found out the cause of the leakage which was a badly corroded energy exchanger. He explained to us what was his action plan to resolve the issue.
Then David located a part supplier in Northampton and we were happy because it could take long time to get parts. And it meant that David can do the repair on the same day. But David found that, because the corrosion was so bad, he need to replace another part. And David can only do it next day. But before he left, David checked that we still have cold water downstairs so that we can still do some washing, cooking etc. And he ordered the other part on his way back to Milton Keynes making sure that he got it next day.
David has been very thoughtful by keeping us informed of the progress and his ETA estimated time of arrival so that we won’t be stressful! David impressed me by his care of all small details as he made sure he has got all the little bits in the correct place before he started working on our boiler. And after he finished the repairs, David also make sure that the boiler is working properly. He checked the thermostat, radiators and taps. Before he left, David also advised us what other area of our boiler we need to pay attention to. Giving us his opinion was doing something beyond and above what his job calls for! I thank David for making us aware of what will be the next concern.
We will consider and ask David first when we have any gas problem next time. His job and service is excellent. His price is good and affordable. And we like and appreciate that David was not only doing a job to repair my boiler BUT he was helping us to resolve a problem.
